Ekrem Musaoğlu, Cybersecurity Manager at Kazancı Holding, spoke about the methods that should be followed to protect corporate data from external threats. Musaoğlu said the following:
At a time when security is so critical, data is, of course, our most valuable asset. In this regard, the issue of transferring data outside the organization is a top priority, especially for institutions like ours that provide critical infrastructure services. We must avoid transferring data externally as much as possible, and if we do transfer it, we must ensure its security is maximized. Information is everything. That’s why protecting information is our primary motivation. Even when we do need to transfer data, we must do so using the most secure methods and channels. In fact, we strive to avoid transferring data whenever possible.
