Since we are an organization classified as critical infrastructure specifically within the energy sector, we have a significant amount of data on many industrial control systems—what we refer to as “SCADA” systems—in the field. Processing and analyzing this data, transferring it to large-scale “data warehouse” systems at a higher level, and then processing the resulting data—combining it with artificial intelligence methodologies and technologies—will provide us with significant resources in terms of generating reports capable of making predictions for the trading units on the energy sales side, and generate reports capable of producing significant outputs related to price forecasting methods—such as day-ahead and intraday markets—in a proactive manner. This will provide us with substantial resources because, as I mentioned, there is a significant amount of data available at many field sites. Processing and analyzing this data manually—whether by a single person or by on-site teams—takes a significant amount of time. Along with the full optimization of these processes and the transformation brought by artificial intelligence, we expect significant outputs and gains—such as the rapid processing of incoming data to reduce downtime and support accurate pricing for customers—in critical billing processes.
