WGuard General Manager Erdener Dinler outlined the company’s services regarding Privileged Access Management, Single Sign-On, and Identity and Access Management.

Since our founding in 2019, we at WGuard have continued to advance by enhancing the quality of our services and incorporating diverse perspectives. Today, we are addressing the “post-COVID” era—a period spanning from 2019 to the present—which encompasses concepts such as Industry 4.0, RPA, and digitalization. This landscape involves specific frameworks regarding how organizations access their digital data, the protocols required for such access, and the standards set by regulatory bodies for accessing these platforms. These frameworks rest on three pillars. The first is PAM, or Privileged Access Management. The second is the SSO concept, known as Single Sign-On. The third is Identity and Access Management (IAM); this covers the entire lifecycle—from a new employee gaining access to their active duties, determining which servers and applications they can access and how, through to the closure of their accounts when they leave the organization.At WGuard, we are fully equipped to provide all these solutions as services. Our first concept is PAM—Privileged Access Management—which deals with what are known as privileged access or privileged accounts. PAM governs the policies and methods by which administrators (personnel accessing servers) connect to those servers, how these activities are logged, and how the credentials—stored in what the industry calls “vaults”—are managed. Regarding Single Sign-On (SSO), we address scenarios where personnel access a wide variety of applications using different interfaces and distinct passwords. We enable users to log in to various applications using a single password via a unified interface, and we offer this as a service. Your organizations can procure this entirely as an OPEX-based service, without the need for any CAPEX investment. Our other concept is Identity and Access Management—specifically, managing the entire employee lifecycle: determining access rights and policies (such as specific subdomains or Active Directory policies) from the moment of hiring, handling scenarios where an employee holds multiple email addresses or is on the payroll of different companies yet consolidated under a single domain, and managing all access policies right up until the employee leaves the organization.
