Murat Yonar, Director of BTM at May Tohum, spoke about how artificial intelligence will create a divide among companies in terms of production. Yonar said the following:
We’re talking about artificial intelligence in manufacturing. In this context, here’s what will happen. In my personal opinion—and based on what we’ve seen in the sources I follow worldwide—the production curve here will shift from a horizontal to a more vertical trajectory, leading to a significant divide between companies that use AI and those that don’t. This divide will result in the following: While those who use AI in their operations can achieve faster and clearer results at certain points, a production methodology will be established within the traditional structures that have been in place for some time using classic production techniques. This serves as an indication to us that, in the coming years, the use of artificial intelligence in production techniques will be very
important and will set us apart from other sectors.
