The new cybersecurity law entered into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette on March 19, 2025. Under this law, all organizations—including private companies and public institutions—that manage or use critical infrastructure in Turkey or possess critical data will now be subject to this law. Under this law, they are required to quickly detect any cyber threats and report them to the Cyber Security Directorate. To do so, they must maintain a cyber incident response team. Furthermore, they must continuously monitor, log, and report on these critical infrastructures and critical data 24/7. Consequently, these obligations became mandatory for all private and public institutions as of March 19, 2025. In this context, I recommend that all organizations use the relevant cybersecurity tools to fulfill these obligations. This is exactly where we come in.
