Cloudflare: Global Power, Local Data Solution

Özben Miçooğulları, Senior Director of Enterprise Sales for Cloudflare in Turkey and Qatar, spoke about Cloudflare, a global powerhouse offering local data solutions. Miçooğulları said:

As one of the world’s largest cybersecurity providers and “hyperscalers,” Cloudflare views Turkey as a very important market. We currently have eight data centers in Turkey. 9. We’re opening a “data center” this year. We have “data centers” in Istanbul and Izmir. We’ll also be opening one in Ankara this year. In that regard, we’ve actually been offering our customers in Turkey this option for the past 5–6 months. They can ensure that their data doesn’t leave Turkey. Consequently, we’re very strong in terms of “data sovereignty” and regulatory compliance. In this regard, customers in Turkey actually have the following advantage. While taking advantage of the benefits of the cloud and connecting to the world via an extremely fast network, they are also able to ensure data security and “data sovereignty.”
