Aydemir stated the following:

“We have made many investments. We have done everything related to cybersecurity. Despite this, we are still being hacked, and some companies are being hacked. Making the right investments is important, but it is necessary to use what we call the ‘tightening’ method for these products. What is this? The products you use need to be updated. Also, tests such as penetration testing should be conducted. Training on these products should definitely be received. One of the reasons for being hacked can be a small detail that is forgotten. For example, giving a Wi-Fi password to someone you don’t know or using a port that is open to the outside. Using pirated software is also a big risk. Especially on Android smartphones, pirated software, software not downloaded from Google Play and the Android market, can take over the phone. After the phone is taken over, if it is connected to the company network, even if it’s a small company, they can infiltrate from there as well.” Therefore, we must protect our digital assets and use genuine software instead of pirated versions, and ensure regular updates.
