Liquid Cooling Technology for AI Systems from Canovate


Gün Evren Gören, CEO of Canovate, spoke about Canovate’s liquid cooling technology for AI systems. Gören said the following:

“At last year’s ‘IT Forum’ event, we presented our AI-powered thermal radar solution, which generated a great deal of interest. This year, we showcased direct-to-chip cooling—that is, liquid cooling technology—for the large or high-capacity data centers required by artificial intelligence. In our presentation, beyond just liquid cooling technology or similar smart ‘PDU’ or modular ‘UPS’ technologies, we emphasized that there is now a very significant acceleration in these ‘data center’ investments are now proceeding at a very rapid pace—meaning that, in addition to these data centers simply needing to be high-capacity, the industry now requires investments to be implemented very quickly. To address this, we have transformed our modular data center approach into a prefabricated data center solution, enabling the rapid construction of very large data centers in a very short time. When we presented our hybrid solution today—which combines prefabricated data centers with our liquid cooling, or direct-to-chip cooling, technology—we generated a great deal of interest. At this point, our biggest advantage is that we provide solutions for high-capacity data centers—and, aside from being one of only three to five companies in the world in this field—we complete prefabricated data centers in record times of 8 to 14 weeks. By customizing these modules, tailored to meet specific needs—we’ve likely become the world’s leading company in this field, and we’ve begun to establish very important references in the Middle East and European markets. Frankly, in addition to our own end-to-end data center and end-to-end telecom infrastructure solutions, our ability to demonstrate and communicate our ambition in these new solutions that the industry is moving toward has truly made us very successful. I’d also like to emphasize that, as the only company producing domestic and national liquid cooling technologies, we’ve been applying our expertise in this area to the defense industry for the past 3–4 years by manufacturing these systems. As a result of our success there, we’ve been able to adapt this technology to data center applications as well.”
