What does it mean to be an AI-powered business?

Çiğdem Yurdakul Kılıç, Deputy General Manager of Information Technologies and Business Development at Türkiye Sigorta, discussed the concept of the AI-enabled business.

Kılıç stated the following:

While artificial intelligence has been part of our lives for many years, the concept of an AI-enabled business is only just emerging—driven by the advent of generative AI. Essentially, this means working alongside artificial intelligence.

It refers to an approach where we position AI not as a replacement for humans, but as a partner—using it to empower people and enhance their processing capabilities. This could take the form of digital assistants, decision-support systems for risk management personnel, or tools that bolster fraud detection systems.

Ultimately, it means integrating a supportive structure alongside the human workforce.
