What is Agentic AI?


Lostar General Manager Murat Lostar spoke about Agentic AI in an interview with Wise TV.

Lostar stated:

Agentic AI means that artificial intelligence, which is based on the large language model that we are accustomed to and has been used extensively in recent years, can actually communicate with the outside world in a one-way or, more often, two-way manner thanks to certain agents. Let’s explain with a very simple example: Artificial intelligence never allowed me to clean my heavily accumulated mailbox. The standard AI large language model only gave me various suggestions when I said, “I need to clean it, what should I do?” I had to go and emphasize this myself. Thanks to agents, if my artificial intelligence accesses my inbox, it starts to see all my emails. Because it sees them, in this one-way interaction, it only reads the data and says: “I have examined your mailbox. If you want to clean your emails, there are a lot of unnecessary emails here that you haven’t read or are not interested in. If you write this rule, it will clean them.” Again, I’m the one who’s supposed to write that rule, but because it can go and see my emails, it can make more accurate decisions. In two-way Agentic AI, after I say this, I tell the AI: “Great, go clean it up.” And it cleans up the AIs that I’m not using.
